The Conley Brothers won the Corpse Dragging Contest for Zid but FF is so traumatized that all he can do is continue to bump up his own poems to the top and send unnecessary replies to posts from years ago. Zid gets drunk as usual, since someone must die every minute.

The image of Stephan Pickering with Bob Dylan is the obvious, iconic one to paint, Zod.

But pissbum, he’s already done that one.

Maybe he could do another one from a more recent picture of pickles and dylan?

I’m sure that he should have had one in his “office”. After all, he did dedicate his adult life to writing the ultimate dylan bibliography.

Definitely the famous Pickering meets Dylan image... perhaps on black velvet?

Shouldn't Pickles have his life memorialized by something more recent than a 2 minute encounter with Dylan 45 years ago?

Pickles life was based on that fucking photo.

Frankly, I don't think Dylan's distinctive enough - I don't recognize him from the picture alone. OTOH, your Stephan is very well done - it catches perfectly his look and even his manner in the iconic 1974 photo.

I've no plans to start an SP page on PPP; but that might change depending on what information comes out online; and, if so, I'd like to be able to crop out and use your drawing of him there.

By all means Stephan Pickering needs a page on the poetry Wiki.

Yes we did. It is 10,000 times better than anything Zid can do.

You drew it so it is no surprise you like it better, Nancy G.

I brightened the only known copy of the drawing (although the original remains in the late Stephan Pickering's archives) and agree that Zod takes a unique look at Dylan, to say the least:

I cropped the brightened copy, and I must say it looks splendid:

Your drawing of Pickering is actually very good, Nancy G. - it reminds me o Drew' Friedman's art:

Thank you. It doesn't remind us of anyone else's art, but you can think so if you want to. Zid should get away from the old picture of Pickles and do something new or do a drawing that actually looks like him.
