I thought the same thing. I think I had a bib with Clarabell on it.

Rather than "Zorro" I'd like to see a version of "Clarabel'...sung by the over talented, Dockery....no need for costume change.

Cue the Conley's

I did not comment on this when I posted it, I like the poem because I can understand (I think) Tennyson's feeling about the death of Claribel. In a way I am think he is saying life goes on even though you might not feel like it is.

Wow, what a message...'life goes on' Hear that Buffalo Bob?

Sometimes people need to hear words of encouragement Edward, especially upon the death of a loved one. I know what I think may seem very simplistic to you all but that does not diminish the depth in which I experience the same emotions as any others. I just lack the words to express myself as well as you all do.

OK, I'm not that familiar with death, my apologies.

That is the one certainly of life is that everyone will become familiar with death, their own. Thank you for your comment and kindness.

I learn everyday, thank you although I don't think you can become familiar with death considering it's a one time deal.

Once you go black, you never come back.

You’re wrong. I’m very familiar with death.

Here is a good example of how G.D. posts outside poetry here...::

Expecting Inspiration, by George Sulzbach

Watching cars and people
something I do a lot.
Sitting near the alley
trying to bum a smoke.

Technically (as it's an alt.* group) anyone can post what they like; but thank you for asking, that was considerate.

I can't see anyone in their right mind objecting to someone's posting poetry or links to poetry here.
