Michael Pendragon explains his editorial philosophy

(or, how Jim got into AYoS)

"You divide everyone into two categories: potential allies and potential
adversaries. You slurp the writings of your potential allies and attack
those of your potential adversaries."

"When Jim is seen as a potential ally, you request his poetry. When he
is seen as an adversary, you assign a childish name to him and claim he
can't write."

As you can see, I was describing *you're* editorial philosophy.

Did George misrepresent something said. No surprise there, with his fixation on propaganda, it isn't surprising that he went down that slippery slope. Plus he didn't follow his own T4T philosophy- so much for principles. But it's like Zod put it: "What do you expect from a control freak on an ego trip?"

It's a big surprise for me. George has never (to my recollection) re-edited someone else's statement and opened a new thread using the falsified statements to slander them.

I don't even think the Donkey and his Stink have stooped to that level.

Sadly, it is not.

Will Donkey and his Stink are basically pond scum on legs. And the Donkey post-edits everyone as a matter of course.

But the Donkey has never taken his post-edited quotes, and used them to open a new thread in which he uses them to slander another writer, editor, or publisher's professional reputation.

That is what Dance did.

This thread is an attack upon my integrity as an editor/publisher *and* uses a falsified statement from me as an alleged confession of unprofessional conduct.

The Donkey and his Stink have never taken their nonsense into the real world. Dance has.

And IMHO he is reprehensible beyond words.

No, Donkey. Those are obviously jokes.

This thread is an attempt to slander my reputation as an editor/publisher.

While Michael Pendragon does what Michael Pendragon does.

For example, Michael Pendragon has been posting false quotes attributed to the poet and publisher Ahmos Zu-Bolton and myself, among others, for starters.

Michael Pendragon was even caught forging posts attributed to George Dance a couple of years ago.

They are neither, Donkey.

No one would ever believe that Zu-Bolton commented on your smell, or that it was published in (what would have been, had you actually graduated) your high school yearbook.

sWilly imagines himself some folk cult art leader and has his flunkies Sod and George Dance open threads for him to troll on-- look at the attack threads Dance made using attack poems knowing (which he bragged about) that sWill and Sod would keep bumping them for months
Funny how his jism poem and his simpleton attack poems got so much more traffic (fighting and troll traffic) than his formal pieces-- is Dance just a silly verse poet? Will sWill be calling that garbage like he does of other people's silly verse?

Wishing for someone's death is not a fantasy, Donkey.

You don't understand what words actually mean.

You seem to think that "fantasy" = "imaginary." It doesn't.

Words matter.

Use them correctly or don't use them at all.

No, Donkey... it doesn't.

All that it involves is a dislike of your presence... and a desire to no longer have to be subjected to it.

The desire to step on a cockroach that is crawling across one's floor is not a fantasy.

> > You don't understand what words actually mean

If you did, you would prove it by using them correctly.

Similarities do not make them interchangeable. There are similarities between a ball and a globe -- but each is used for very different purposes.

You're using a second word, "confession," incorrectly. It's clear from
the quote that you're saying it to attack someone else's integrity.
That's not called "confessionn" -- it's called "projection."

1) Falsely attributing it to me is extremely low, George.

2) Quoting out of context *and* post-edited drastically changes the meaning.

1) The "you" in the above passage was very specifically intended to be George Dance.
2) Will Donkey and his Stink cannot write. They can't write in complete, or intelligible, sentences. And that's just for starters.

Nor is your claim supported by my past posts:

Even when Will was my "ally," I said that I found his poetry unreadable, but that it worked for what it was: 3am dive bar music.

Stop lying, George. I've made no such admission.

My words regarding you are true -- and supported by the AAPC archives. You've "published" both Jim and my poetry when you considered us allies, and trashed our poetry when you considered us enemies.

> > That is what Dance did.

You changed some of my words *and* changed the context in which they were written.

I'd call that "post-editing" and "falsified" bullshit.

WTF? I'm talking about your post-edited, out of context version of my words. You make it appear as though I am confessing to my own unscrupulous editorial policy, when I was actually describing yours.

Your death or your incarceration are the only two things that will ever stop you from posting to AAPC and Usenet.
As this is a fact, I simply decided that I would prefer your death, since incarceration would be non-beneficial to the State of Georgia and put at a cost to taxpayers.
Once that was decided, I merely chose a way that I would hope you would suffer, since, as a clear narcissist, you show no empathy or remorse toward others.

And Ash is correct. RAP and your AAPC Facebook page are barren landscapes -- flooded with the spammed poetry of you and your friends that no one wishes to read.

The sad truth is that you can drive poets away from AAPC (you're a despicable p.o.s. who no one cares to have any sort of interaction with), but you cannot maintain a viable poetry forum on your own (or with the help of your fellow Splooges).

You've driven Jim out of the group, but your victory is a Pyrrhic one at best.

When you drive the best writers out of a poetry group, it ceases to be a poetry group. You've spent the past 6 years burying AAPC under an avalanche of spam posts, slurp posts, "Hello Jordy" posts, and petty flame posts. No one wants to become a part of it -- and those of us who stay only point out how godawful bad your "poetry" really is.

They're quite proud of that, they already been taunting Jim about his leaving. And like with Mr Burrows, who took a break from here, they'll continue to bump #George_J_Dance attack poem threads to taunt Jim even after he leaves. That's because they're just spiteful trolls, quite the proud boys in their glee of people leaving the group they try to dominate with spamming old so called poems and fighting anyone who dares disagree with them about it.

So quotes the poetry carrion crow, "Legacy will be theirs nevermore."

OMG! You're being censored because you

Michael Monkey seems to be forgetting that the whole point of a poetry group is to post (or "spam", in his words) poems. Whether he or the Ashtroll "wishes to read" other people's poems is not a consideration.

> > The sad truth is that you can drive poets away from AAPC (you're a despicable p.o.s. who no one cares to have any sort of interaction with), but you cannot maintain a viable poetry forum on your own (or with the help of your fellow Splooges).

Michael Monkey seems to have gotten it backwards again. As we've seen, it's the "Splooges" who've been bringing new people (or "plants," in Monkeyspeak) to group, and the Jism Gang that's been trying to drive them away. We can always ask a newbie like Mack about that, if there's any disagreement.

If it isn't censorship, suppose you can tell us what other purpose your snipping it serves?

IMHO, it's an extremely childish and ineffectually make-believe form of censorship with which sub-moronic dunces convince themselves that they have some control over what is posted here.

Pathetic.

> > The whippin' fools are so afraid of my mere words that they cannot understand. By gawd, the truth told to them, of what they reveal to everyone with their hypocritical behavior, must really confuse them.

Is this a fill in the blank? If so, I'd like to complete the sentence as follows: OMG! You're being censored because you pissed widdle Georgy Porgy off.

> Michael Monkey seems to be forgetting that the whole point of a poetry group is to post (or "spam", in his words) poems. Whether he or the Ashtroll "wishes to read" other people's poems is not a consideration.

That is *not* the point of AAPC, George. RAP is for posting poetry. AAPC is for *commenting* on poetry. AAPC is a discussion group, and its purpose is for members to "post *and discuss* poetry.*

Many moderated groups require that members comment on two poems by other members in order to post one poem of their own. While we'd all like to keep AAPC much less rigid than that, the basic idea should remain. Those who don't discuss the poetry of others have no business flooding the group with poetry of their own.

> > > The sad truth is that you can drive poets away from AAPC (you're a despicable p.o.s. who no one cares to have any sort of interaction with), but you cannot maintain a viable poetry forum on your own (or with the help of your fellow Splooges).

When you and/or your Donkey bring some actual poets into the group, you can talk. Bringing in erratic troublemakers to help you drive poets away is not doing anyone in AAPC any good -- not even Team Donkey (and if you took your head out of your ass long enough to look around, you'd see such practices for what they are).

Jim is a highly talented poet. Our group is infinitely poorer without him. The same holds true for Robert.
