I like how it harkens to the look of an old typewriter......…

Perhaps print the poems in a smiliar FONT....?

I like the idea but we are still undecided.

I have a font that I'm using now, though it'll be easy enough to change (since there's only the one being used throughout the book). It's actually a Chinese font (NSimSun), but with Latin characters it looks like a typewriter wrote it. I wish I could show you an example.

Your font has the more "typewriter" look, then... excellent.

It's a line he picked up from a review he'd read or (more likely) watched on tv without really understanding it.

He thinks it just means that his book will be great.

No.

I got home around 7:30pm last night, walked the dog, made dinner for myself and my son, did the dishes, took out the trash, switched cars when my wife returned from her job, played a few turns on the Age of Wonders video game with my son, walked the dog, did the dishes from my wife's dinner, dropped by aapc (mostly to skip through/cancel Stinky's posts) and went to bed.

I don't have much opportunity for watching tv, but whatever I might like about President Trump, his communication skills wouldn't be included.

Yes. False accusations/impeachments compromise the country by taking our President away from his administrative duties.

No. All of the guns are in the hands of the Right-Wingers. It would be more of a political genocide than a war.

Okay, I got a bit overly enthusiastic, I will grant you:

https://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/shake-rock-the-foundations-of-something

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English

"...shake/rock the foundations of something
(also shake/rock something to its foundations) to completely change the way something is done or the way people think by having a completely new idea.."

In poetry, Allen Ginsberg's "Howl" is about the only book of poems that managed to do such a thing, but I do expect my poetry book to be a big hit.

The truth or falseness of the accusations pales in comparison to the utter irrelevance of the charges. If the President had checked into his opponent's background during his campaign, what harm did that do? How did that compromise our nation in any way? How does that affect his Presidency in any way?

By pursuing this frivolous impeachment, the Butt-Hurts are compromising our nation's worldwide reputation, disrespecting our President, and attempting to harm our national and economic security by forcing our President to divert his attention from important issues in order to deal with their ridiculous claims.

Were I the President, I'd have rounded each of the accusers up, stuffed their shoes down their throats, then promptly marched them outside and had them shot. But then I've always been something of an extremist.

The answer is no; in this case the truth as to whether President Trump had investigated Traitor Biden's background is irrelevant. Thus, as it pertains to this particular case, I don't care a fig about the truth of the accusations.

Even if he had investigated Traitor Biden, and even if he had done so on your metaphorical dime, it would not even begin to constitute sufficient grounds for impeachment.

Truth is relative.

What matters is even more so.

Regarding President Trump, what matters is whether he makes America a better place to live.

That's distilling it to an extremely simplistic level, of course, but that's pretty much the bottom line.

Any samples yet....:?

I don't think we will be using blurbs for the back cover, but if we did, the M.H. Benders quote would be more appropriate:

https://alt.arts.poetry.comments.narkive.com/HitLYeXM/m-h-benders-on-will-dockery-one-of-the-most-authentic-american-poets

"In my opinion Will Dockery is easily one of the most authentic American poets around. A real coffeehouse poet who is not scared of mingling some real American elements such as country music into his
poetry..." -M.H. Benders

;)
