Possibly, it's a matter of perspective-- to the outsider it's more foretelling, perhaps poignant. Now if it would bring realization to doomed minds, then it would truly be profound.

Do you think it's about Helen of Troy or is maybe a confessional poem? Have you read posts from anyone who resembles this 3 line poem? How does it relate to George Dance's poem "February?"

Not confession, more of commentary on someone's foolhardiness.
