Expecting Inspiration, by George Sulzbach

Well, nobody can accuse Dunce of misrepresenting the kind of life that
Admiral Plod leads!

If any residents of Columbus GA are reading, it's important to
remember that giving cash to drunken beggars doesn't solve any
problems.

Well done, Plod! "Snooty fool" is better than anything Dreckery has
ever written. The assonance is enhanced by the differentiation of the
consonants.

> Peter the Putz? ??

That's not so good. Alliteration is so easy that anybody can do it -
except Dreckery, of course.

Do they have coffee houses in Shallowville?

London had coffee houses as early as the 1600s, but I'd be surprised
if Shallowville had reached that level of civilisation yet.

Here's a photo showing the recent bid by pissbums to take over the Shallowville coffee houses.

That is, our resident pissbums swear that it's a coffee house, although that brown bottle poking into the shot just in front of Plod makes one suspect otherwise.

Yes, the bottle is proof enough for me.

By the way, that's the first time I've ever seen a picture of Dreckery
with black people.

It's also the first time I've seen him with the twitchy arms-folding
body language of somebody who'd rather be elsewhere.

Could these two firsts perhaps be related?

Does Georgia allow open carry for beer? A lot of U.S. states allow it for guns, but I have no idea what they allow for beer bottles.

There are "open container law" on booze....... in Georgia.....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_open-container_laws

************************************************************************

In the United States, open container laws regulate or prohibit the existence of open containers of alcohol in certain areas, as well as the active consumption of alcohol in those areas. "Public places" in this context refers to openly public places such as sidewalks, parks and vehicles. It does not include nominally private spaces which are open to the public, such as bars, restaurants and stadiums. The purpose of these laws is to restrict public intoxication, especially the dangerous act of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Open container laws are state laws, rather than federal laws; thus they vary from state to state.

Open containers in public
The majority of U.S. states and localities prohibit possessing and/or consuming an open container of alcohol in public places, such as on the street, while 24 states do not have statutes regarding public consumption of alcohol.[1] However, the definition of "public place" is not always clear. California is unique in that it does have a state law on the books, but similar to states that have no law, the state law only applies to areas in which the "city, county, or city and county have enacted an ordinance".[2]

Open container restrictions are not always rigorously enforced, and open containers may in fact be legally permitted in nominally private events which are open to the public. This is especially true in downtown districts and during holidays and sporting events; see tailgate party.

Bunny could have brought it in. Many establishments w/o a liquor license have a BYOB policy.

No, you've been insisting it was a beer while I keep saying probably not.

It's obviously a beer, Whiny Willie.

The question is that since Lady Bunny gives us a daily report on her wine consumption, why does she care so much about having been seen with a beer.

Perhaps it's just one of your moobs bunching up the checks on your shirt in such a manner that it *looks* like a cigarette pack. The photo's too small to tell with any certainty (unlike the obvious beer bottle in the foreground), which is why I'd asked.

No one really gives a crap about you, Willie Whiner. It's just amusing to give you poke or two and watch you whine.

But don't let it go to your head. There are plenty of other monkeys running around the internet who are just as amusing to poke. Your kind are a dime a dozen.

For instance, there are Dunce, Lady Pickles and Lady Bunny -- all of whom can be even more amusing than yourself.

My theory is that Plod has asked the Dreckster to look after his tin
of beard polish. Since the Dreckster can't fit anything thicker than a
cigarette paper into his trouser pockets without busting the seams,
he's put it into his shirt pocket instead.

I notice that the Dreckster is wearing a shirt with vertical stripes,
because he's heard that vertical stripes have a slimming effect. But
they don't have a slimming effect when the strain on the buttons makes
the stripes go wavy in the middle.
