Richard Marthers. Richard's work has won several awards including the
Artist Guild Award at Newport's "Art on the Lawn Festival".
One art critic affiiated with a local Rhode Island newspaper recently said
of Richard's work; "The paintings exhibit strength of design and a love of
fresh multi-color blends, capturing the essence of New England Landscape and
Archetectural subjects." (The paintings) "offer a mix of impressionistic
color and expressionistic brush handling."
