East Meadow, NY, November 14th 1996 -- Pearl Art & Craft will be holding
its Fifth Annual "Great American Art Event" on Friday, November 15th from
10 AM to 9PM, and Saturday, November 16th from 10 AM to 4:30 PM of this
year. Located at the Huntington Hilton in Melville, NY on Route 110. As
in the past, (ADMISSION TO THE EVENT IS FREE) Pearl will offer art and
craft supplies at specially discounted prices, classes taught by
professional artists, live demonstrations, and a chance for artists and
craftsmen to network.
For 5 years now the Long Island community has joined us for this great
show. Their enthusiasm is what makes this event grow greater every year.
This year is especially significant for us. Not only is it our 5th Annual
Show (a milestone), but we are privileged to add to our charities the
People with AIDS Coalition of Long Island (PWAC). An organization
dedicated to helping people, including children infected or affected by
AIDS. Along with PWAC, JUVENILE DIABETES FOUNDATION will be returning for
a second time.

directly speaking with manufacturers of the tools of their choice,
expanding their creativity in ways they may not have the chance to be
exposed to... Besides all this... like no other community in the world.

need their help... ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!!
Appearing at the event and teaching classes are well known artists such as
Tom Lynch, Brenda Harris, Robert Paschal, Peter West and world renowned
airbrush artist...Jurek, among others.
