any digital art collectors out there?

Hey there!
Since a few years I've been collecting art in digital form (mostly
pictures of paintings and sculptures).
I have a digital camera and often take pictures at museums and
exhibitions when I get a chance. I also collect art found at websites
but manually saving
pictures one by one is a bit of a hassle, so I try using a program
like WebReaper to rip complete websites whenever possible.
So far I've only managed to rip sites with relatively complete
collections
of artwork by Van Gogh and Dali and hence my current art collection is
somewhat biased towards those artists.

I wish there were more people on p2p networks (WinMX, Kazaa, EDonkey,
DC++, etc...) who would share and exchange art.
I can understand why there are so few people who share books in
digital form since it's a bit of a hassle to rip a book (scanning it
page by page) compared to ripping a cd, but I don't see why so few
people exchange pictures and graphics since it doesn't take a lot of
effort to digitize traditional forms of art (except 3D stuff like
sculptures).

Currently I have a collection of about 7000 pics and it's really
awesome to shuffle it in Acdsee.
As far as I'm concerned copyrights are a thing of the past and not
applicable to artwork in digital form.
I have no intention whatsoever to exploit my efforts to collect art in
any commercial way but in the future I might like to earn a living
creating artwork somehow in a way that doesn't interfere with my
opinion that people should be free to exchange information (music,
art, etc...).

Are there any other people out there who like to collect art and
discuss techniques to collect online art, like ways to rip websites to
generate large collections of pictures?
I'm also interested in websites that feature large collections of
modern or traditional art which are potentially accessible for
programs to automatically obtain a copy of all graphics and discussing
various programs that can be used for this purpose.
