Can he do anything traditional, or is it all abstract?

Based on the galleries on the site I'd guess he can, and do it well. Not
that he should - his work has a very intense passion to it. Love the

the highlands again.

Do you have a link to his more traditional work?
I find the pure abstract unreachable.

He doesn't have more traditional work on his site. By looking at his
abstract work I can see the technique and skill. Like many good abstract
artist he most likely started out doing figurative work, and probably does
realistic sketches as preliminary work. So I was saying he *can* do it - ie.
has the ability. I guess I just don't see all of it as pure abstract - the
Ingleborough series has touches of representation in it for me... but I've
been up hills and peaks over here so have a context to view it through.
Not all artists appeal to everyone. Move on and find a traditional artist
whose work you like. :)
