MORTEN SOLBERG, combines a remarkably authentic looking Canadian Geese,
with the rich colors of an abstract background. This is a gorgeous
wildlife print of the original painting by Morten E. Solberg. Solberg's
paintings range from tight realism to totally abstract, and he is
continually stretching the boundaries of these directions. The
combination of these extremes has made his work both unique and popular!
The name of this print is "On Winter Winds." It is beautiful! It is
framed / matted, signed and numbered 35/1000 - dated 1979. This was
taken to an Art Gallery 8 years ago by myself and the lady looked this
print up in her book of print values.. and it was valued at $416.00 -
street market value..probably more now
Please email for photos, but please note that the photos really do not
do it justice.. and I am sorry about the glare off the glass when I took
the top picture, I tried to get the best photos possible. The frame
measures approx. 21.5" w x 17" h. This is professionally framed so I do
not want to take the backing off to measure the print size. However the
opening on the back of the frame is approx. 20.25 x 16" and the because
there is a little tear in the paper backing of the frame I can see that
the print fills the back opening of the frame so that opening size is
approx. the size of the print.
