uh-huh. Well, not wanting to seem too disparaging, but check out
for something a little more advanced in terms of using computers to
create imagery. Photoshop filters are all very well and good, but if
that's all you're doing to an image...hmmmn.
i'm suspicious and immediately put off by web pages which congratulate
me for getting there.....
and yet again, i single myself out as a sad fuck who notices these
things (and comments on them, which is worse), but
"Welcome to the Gallery. There are currently 6 rooms showing
Imagery. So relax and enjoy the pleasing aesthetics of these images on
this medium the virutal digital canvas."
i'm relaxed, i've just been congratulated (and thus feel not
unreasonably happy with myself); i think i'm ready to enjoy some
aesthetically pleasing virutal canvases.
Whatever the hell *those* might be.
Art is really more about the expression of the artist soul.
It's what the artist puts into the image that matters!!!!!
I've seen Leland spend 10 to 12 hours working to get a single image
looking the way he wanted before claiming it is finished. He has
something in his mind that appeals to him and that is what he strives
to bring to the digital canvas. His images are not solely generated using
photoshop, there is a "process" that Leland uses to approach a new
image project. It is in this process that many of the images are born.
Some are rejected, but others are manipulated for hours in different
ways to generate an image that to Leland speaks something to or
from his soul.
Thank you for visiting the Gallery, all visitors are appreciated whether
they like the images or not.
