In Search of Oils Artist R.J.M.

I am searching for any information on an oil painting artist who
signed his/her paintings with only the initials R.J.M. This is a long
shot but you never know on the Internet newsgroups what you might
discover until you try. There is very little other information about
the artist that I can provide at this point. The several paintings we
have are around 1 foot square in size. One is of a gas filled balloon
inflating with onlookers milling around. There is no other
identification I am aware of at this time. R.J.M. is all we have to
go on. The paintings may be around 50 years old more or less...
