Academy of Art College

Hi there,

I'm just wondering if any of you can give me information about the academy
of art college in san francisco...

Is it a good school? Are the programs worth the money?
Do they give a substantial amount of financial aid? Do students from that
school have good job placement? etc. etc...

I have received many catalogs from them....but I would like to know what's
real and what's hype.

Unless it's prohibitively expensive, go visit! Spend a full day there, sit in on classes, talk
to students. See how talented and motivated they are, and whether they think they're
getting their money's worth.

Hi,

I am seriously thinking of attending the Academy of Art College for their computer arts program. I
am planning a visit there in the next several weeks. They won't let you sit in on classes (I
asked).

I have talked to a few students via the internet, and the consensus so far is positive. It is very
expensive but the school is very well equipped in terms of facilities. The faculty are all adjunct
(working professionals). This is great. The only downside to that is that outside the classroom
you are pretty much on your own.

I too would like to hear from anyone who has info on this school.
