Wisconsin, since they didn't include that pertinent bit of info.

Amazingly, TexARC <Tex...@texasarcheryREMOVETHIS.org> managed to post:

It was there, hidden and three clicks deep, but it was there.

Perhaps they only wanted the serious archer/browser fraternity to be
aware of their location? ;)

That's a big range, but watch out in claiming thats its the worlds largest,
our indoor range is a disused aircraft hanger!:-)
It's around 350 by 150 feet, and we usually have about 20 lanes if shooting
at the full distances (up to 100 yards) or up to 50 lanes shooting across
(max 40 yards but we normally stick to 20).
Only problem is its WW2 vintage so its a bit spooky shooting on your own at
night (first arrow also tends to send the resident pigeons mental, which
scares the crap out of you if your not ready for it! :-)
Oh, and the doors are bomb proof steel and are about 50 tons a piece, bad
news for arrows if you miss the backstop netting! (normally goes Twang!
CLANG!! B*%$^&ks!!!)
No Pro shop, disabled access (unless we open a door - not easy at 50 tons)
or smart concrete and sand surface though (just plain rock-hard concrete),
so I think that you win hands down in the nicer facility stakes - if i'm
ever over that way I'll be sure to pop in.

Wow. Where is this? It'd be great to visit, just so I could do an indoor
FITA or something... :-)

Wow! Neat range! 350 feet long? Gosh - you could nearly hold a clout
shoot!

Not rather cold in winter though?

Where is this range about?

cheers

Thought that I forgot to mention something :-), our range is at Wyton in
Cambridgeshire (UK).
Were holding this years East Anglian champs on our outdoor field this year
(FITA), and we did (briefly) talk about using it as an alternate indoor
venue if the weather was crappy.
Plan A was to knock up a huge sign saying "Please note, these doors are
armour plated - we cannot be held responsible for any damage to arrows that
may result from archers missing their targets", or words to that effect.
Other plan was to crank open all the doors on one end, stick the bosses
outside on the grass and then shoot from inside to outside.
Both plans scrapped for being just way to absurd, we will just have to get
wet like everyone else!
