Im new to the sport and was a little overwhelmed by the huge selection of
compound bows to choose from. After doing some lookinga around at my local
stores and searching a bit online, ive found the team fitzgerald package
by PSE to be a pretty good deal. I was wondering if anyone has anything to
say about it (good or bad)? Im just going to be shooting targets though
oneday id like to trying hunting small game (ie: the elusive rabbit) so im
also wondering what draw weight would satisfy that goal (so i dont need to
get another bow later).
Thanks,
brett

It is a question of what you will doing.
Hunting? No idea.
But for target shooting is a bow with
round synthetic wheels, steel cables and dacron string a
"little bit" out of fashion.

After a fair amount of research into my first bow purchase, I too bought
a PSE Nova, with a single cam. The local shop got me all set up with
quality necessities (sight, rest, etc.) for $300. Add in a release and
a 6-pack of carbon arrows and you're ready to shoot for $400 or less.
I haven't regretted it a bit! -iNetJunkie
But a much better idea if you are 'new to the sport'.
