Has anyone checked these out yet, or does anyone own one? Impressions
and comparisons w/Mathews are welcome. I am sure others would like to
hear as well. I am also interested in the lightning versus Orion cam
for the Carrera and an approximate price for these bows. Thanks.

I am going to order a Durango pretty soon. I shot both the carrera
and durango with various cams.

The one I like is the Durango with the Lightening Cam. Too little
adjustment on the bullwhip cam. What do you do when you want to sell
it. If their draw length is different you need to buy a different
cam.

I just picked up the Durango w/ lightning one-cam. I paid $550.00 for it at a
place that had it in stock. I got a price of $540.00 but that place had to
order it. I called PSE and they told me that Durango would not ship till the
end of January or most likely the middle of February. I decided not to wait in
order to save ten bucks. The Durango has a 6-½ inch brace height and its 38
inches axle to axle. It draws and shoots smoothly and quietly. I have mine set
at 70 pounds, it has an 80% let off which can be changed to 65% let off. Right
now I am shooting Easton 2413 arrows but I just ordered Easton ACC 360 carbon
arrows.

I also looked at the Durango bullwhip and the Carrera twin turbo. Both are only
37 inches axle to axle. I did not like the Carrera because it only has a 5-½
inch brace height and I was looking for a single cam bow. The bullwhip has a 7
¼ inch brace height because of the oversize bullwhip cam and an overly large
wheel on the top. (I think the large wheel looks hokey.)

My Durango has a Bodoodle/PSE pro 500 arrow rest. I am using a PSE glo sight
that has the small .030 pins instead of the standard .040 pins. I would not
hesitate to buy the Durango L.C. again In a heartbeat!!!

At a shop I help out with we got a large shipment of PSE in all
29 70#.We decided to speed compare them all with a 450gr. arrow.here's
how they made out.

Baby-g lightning cam 80%-260
Thunder-bolt LC 65%-275
Carrera Orion cam 60%-290
Durrango LC 80%-267
Durrango Bullwhip 70%-267
Nova Synergy 3 65%-268
Out of all of them the Nova was the smoothest to pull and was around the
$300 mark CDN.The Carrera was by far the fastest but considering how it
pulled the speed was to be expected. The Durrango's shoot about the same
speed as the Nova but again sacrificed smoothness of draw for let-off.

I got the new carrera with the orion cam, and if you like shooting a bow
that feels like bomb just went off in your hand you might like this one .
i'v got it for sale it has about 30 shots on it. So i ordered the durango
and you know PSE can't even copy the dam things right, after spending a fist
full of money and still disapionted I bought the mathews MQ1 and I think its
the best bow i'v ever shot barr none. I dont give a dam who makes the bow I
shoot as long as it shoots good . I think you should try them all and make
up your mind about the bow. like the mathews add says you have to shoot the
MQ1 to feel the differance.

you can get pretty good desciptions of them in the edersbow catalog:
www.edersbow.com/catalog
not to mention pretty good prices also try the forum there to see if anyone
there has shot them. I unfortunately have not shot them and often lean to
Martin bows....their new fuzion cam is sweet. But I have handled the bows
and think the PSE's certainly compete with Mathews
