Does anybody know the fastest speed ever recorded with a bow or a crossbow?
The " Stryker" ad claims to have achieved 405 ft/sec with that x-bow, but is
that the fastest ever? What are the IBO and AMO record speeds out there?

A bit BT (beside topic), but we measured Yumi-shots (Yumi = Japanese
asymmetric longbow) at 55-60 m/s (~ 180-200 ft/s) with a 40lb. bow.
