Best for what? Best for Olympic style target archery? Best for field
archery competition? Best for tree stand hunting? Best for
walking/stalking style hunting? Best for sight shooting? Best for
instinctive shooting? Best speed with light arrows? Best speed with
heavy arrows? Most historically correct? Whose history? Chinese?
Turkish? Sioux? Best value for the money? Best in what price range?
Best compound bow? Best recurve? Best longbow? Best self bow? Best
take-down bow? Quietest? Best for snap shots? Fastest for repeat shots?
Prettiest? Most durable? Best in temperature extremes? Best mechanical
acuracy? Best with wood arrows? Easiest for beginners? Best commercial
bow? Best custom bow? Most popular? Most famous? Lightest weight?
Shortest? Most stable? Etc....etc....

Everything in life involves trade-offs, and this is certainly true in
archery. There is no "best" bow, but almost any bow could be the best for
one person's particular needs and not for another's.
