I seem to remember seeing some sort of deal Aquarium Fish Magazine offered to
the readers on the 'net for a two-year subscription for the price of one year.
Can someone tell me where I saw this so I can look through it again? Or just
let me kno what I have to do to take advantage of the deal? I love AFM!

Its in the FAQ - don't remember which one. All you have to do is call them up
and tell them there's this deal. They become confused, but will lower your rate
significantly -- on the order of get three years for the price of one.

Sounds great, but can someone tell me the number to call Aquarium Fish
Magazine on? And, I've never read the magazine, but I have been looking for
a good one. Does it have freshwater fish info, or is just marine fish? I
only keep freshwater but would like some magazine that covers Discus and the
like.

I used to (about two years ago) work in a petshop that carried Aquarium Fish
magazine. Because I was selling it (shop also carried Tropical Fish Hobbyist
and Freshwater and Marine Aquarium), I got to know all of them pretty well.
Aquarium Fish was the most beginner-oriented of that group (it may have
changed since then), having articles on "setting up your first tank" and
the like mixed in with a lot of intermediate stuff like raising swordtail
fry and the occasional advanced article on discus or breeding show fish
or other slightly more esoteric topics. They had a little marine stuff
as well. Tropical Fish Hobbyist was also mostly freshwater, but tended to
skip the real beginner stuff like "first tank" articles, and use the extra
space for more exotic features. Freshwater and Marine Aquarium was somewhere
in between, and also notable for more marine coverage, opinion columns and
equipment reviews. For a lot more marine articles, try Marine Fish Monthly.

Just my $.02 worth

Yea...it's probably a little more freshwater oriented than marine, but not
overbearingly. There's always some interesting marine articles to read (and I
don't keep marine tanks, either.)

Their subscription order/question number is (815) 734-6083.

Hope this helps.....:)

Hi!

I'm very new to this echo, so could you explain FAQ and do you have a
telephone number or a way to get in contact of whoever has this magazine.

Thanks
