I have decided to set up my aquarium as a marine tank, I have had both freswater and marine
tanks before. I prefer a marine tank because of all the possibilties.

I currently have a 55 gal tank with a wet/dry filter, UV light filter and protein skimmer. It
was set up as a marine tank but I kept losing the fish during the summer. My apartment got
too warm.

I am thinking about buying a bigger (90 or 110 gal) tank and I was looking for some
advice/suggestions on types of fish to put in the tank. I like triggers but I want
invertabrates in the tank, but I don't feel like providing expensive snacks for the triggers.
I also need the fish to be fairly hardy because of the location of my tank. Heat could still
be a problem in the summer.

Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.

I'd suggest getting rid of the UGF. You might want to get a chiller,
if your place really gets that hot! Before getting the bigger tank, I
think you might want to get more experience with a fish-only system.
Cycle it with damsels or clownfish, and then pick some hardy fish to
try out for about 6-8 months. No rush, and you won't believe how much

you'll learn in just a short time. You might want to get Martin Moe's
book, Marine Aquarium Handbook-- it's excellent. H2
