DIGITAL CENTRIC is looking for people to add to their WEB PRODUCTION
TEAMS. If you are interested in working in the field of web site
production, we are looking for people to fill a number of positions. Home

*Site Architect / Creative Director: The Site Architect/Creative Director
designs and sets up the main navigational and design elements of the
overall web site, combining content, navigational structure and appearance
into an integrated web experience. He or she should be able to build a web
site from the ground up that is a unified work of art. The Site
Architect/Creative Director is responsible for coordinating web site
elements produced by other team members as well as producing and
maintaining client web sites. Microsoft FrontPage 98 experience is
required.

HTML Production Artist: The HTML Production Artist produces simple web
pages by using existing templates, modifying existing pages, and/or
creating custom pages from scratch. He or she should have basic HTML
skills and the ability to hand-code basic HTML tags, but uses GUI editors
for simple tables, frames, etc. Microsoft FrontPage 98 familiarity is
preferred.

HTML Guru: The HTML Guru produces complex web pages and features. He or
she should have advanced HTML skills and the ability to hand-code some
complex HTML as well as use a GUI editor (e.g. complex framesets, nested
tables, imagemaps, forms, embedded media). Experience with DHTML, CSS,
XML, and/or ActiveX is a plus. He or she should be aware of coding issues
and tradeoffs between different platforms and browsers, verification
tools, and new coding proposals. Microsoft FrontPage 98 experience is
highly desirable, particularly with advanced features and components.

Content Developer / Writer / Editor: The Content Developer / Writer /
Editor writes copy for web sites. This includes researching new content
and/or adapting existing printed materials received from client companies.
This person should have excellent writing and editorial skills and some
general understanding of and experience with the web medium. Advertising
training / background is a definite plus.

ß Graphic Artist: The Graphic Artist produces 2D and 3D graphics,
including buttons, backgrounds, banners, logos, simple animated GIFs, and
illustrations. He or she will work very closely with the Site Architect
on navigational and design elements. This person should be aware of color
palette and graphic compression issues and be able to optimize images for
the web. A background in graphic design and experience producing print
advertisements is desirable.

ß Multimedia Artist: The Multimedia Artist produces audio-visual elements,
including complex animated GIFs, embedded and streaming audio and video
files (e.g. Flash, Shockwave, MIDI, QuickTime, Real media), etc. He or
she will work closely with the Site Architect to develop the interactive
behaviors of a web site and integrate multimedia elements with the overall
site design.

ß Web Coder / Programmer: The Web Coder / Programmer plans and produces
complex behaviors in web pages with integrated scripts. He or she can
hand code advanced HTML and JavaScript from scratch and customize existing
code. This person will ideally be familiar with several languages (e.g.
Java, Perl, Visual Basic, C++) for writing CGIs, client-side, and
server-side applications. He or she should have knowledge of security and
online commerce systems, including a thorough knowledge of cookies and
database connectivity. Experience with ASP is a major plus.
