So Tomino and the others are stumped as to what they're going to do for another
Gundam series...will they continue with one of the alternate worlds? Go back
to UC? Take something from somewhere else? (This is a humor post, so...)

Well, here's some possibilities.

1. Arenbi/Allenby and her Nobel Gundam form a squad of
girl-Gundams-in-short-dresses and fight evil from another universe. Kidou
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Gundam!

2. All the second-string characters in Gundam get together and form their own
series, but things deteriorate to one sabotaging the other to get top billing.
Hijinks ensue.

3. In order to appear more 'American', G Gundam star Chibode Crockett heads
his team of women in a Gundam series set on the beach. Each week they are
featured in skimpier and skimpier suits (Chibode included), and they save
unwise beachgoers from disaster.

4. Camille, Fa, Four, and Char get an apartment together, when who should move
in across the hall but Scirocco, and Amuro! Rosamia shows up now and then to
add some variety, and the cast mainly hangs around a coffee shop. Hmm...

5. Shinta and Kumu steal a Gundam and defeat the evil forces plaguing the
universe, in the process learning meaningful lessons about life from their
friend Haro.

6. Char decides to become a male 'escort' and enters into a world of drugs,
sex, and, uh, lots of sweat. Amuro intervenes and gets drawn in himself, but
fortunately, Bright threatens to do a striptease, and the two return to their
day jobs.

7. Fa leaves Camille and the rest of the Zeta cast, sick of being trampled on,
and decides to move to Minneapolis-St Paul and start her life over again. She
meets the odd but cool upstairs neighbor Kyara Sun, and of course the strange
Sayla Mass and her precocious daughter Puru.

These are but a handful of ideas! We should all try and help Tominosan come up
with new concepts for Gundam series!

Just something to lighten the mood 'round here. ;)

Love!

I like the idea, escept the "Chibode included" part. *giggles*

The Bright part is the best.
.. Actually, hey! That role can be fulfilled by: Ryu/the guy who piloted
the Blue Gouf/Kai-san/Dozuru Zabi/Giren!/Darn it, what is his name? The
Gyan guy? err... that guy with the pot that before he died he said you
must hand it back to Kishiria-sama? Darn.. name name..

...

The name..

Or hey.
How about have some kid, (or even Haro) go around and try to catch all
the Gundam kacha-bon in the world?

...er
Okay. I am no good at this.

Hey, this is a good idea!!! Maybe Shinta (Satoshi) could go around and catch
chibi-Gundam with Haro. :D

Oh, c'mon, Chibode is sex-EE! :) Remember that scene of him in the skimpy

LOL, that was great. How about these ideas? :

1. Haro goes haywire and becomes evil. Programmed with the knowledge of
Amuro, Haro becomes an ace pilot of a faction of sentient mobile suits
intent on conquering the world! Gundams rebel against humanity and
civilization is laid to waste. Gundam: Judgement Day. Its man vs machine,
it's power extreme...wait wrong show.

2. A group of homeless civilians wander from city to city, meeting people
down on their luck or in trouble. They befriend and help those that they
meet, fighting the Gundam-of-the-day in each episode and then moving on.
It's the Littlest Gundam Hobos! Wait...sorry, that's already been done in
Gundam-X.

Both of the ideas were pretty awesome...I came up with some more while I was
out to lunch:

1. 'Four and Friends'...Four Murasame decides to quit the world of war and
hosts an all-too-cute children's television program complete with SD friends
such as SD Dom, SD Zaku, and Haro. However, when SD Mr Psycho pays a visit,
trouble follows...

2. The UC pilots form the 'Zeta Wrestling Federation' instead of fighting in
mobile suits. They dress up in appropriately-colored spandex and beat the
living hell out of each other. Naturally, Fa and Four have a dominance fight,
and of course Emma's power move is the Sheen Slap.

3. Kyara Sun starts a rock band, and the show details their hard work and rise
to stardom under the direction of their strict manager Haman Khan, as well as
their PR man Gremmi and roadie Mashma Sero.

4. Scirocco, Char, Gremmi, Mashma, Zechs, the Frost brothers, Bernie/Barney,
Garma, and Anravel Gato get together to form the 'bad boys of Gundam' and
publish a magazine with them in suggestive positions. Not to be outdone, Amuro
tries to band the 'good guys' into a similar effort, but fails since only
Beecher and Kai Shiden are willing to pose. At the last minute, Gordon Go
defects to join Amuro's magazine, but it's too little, too late...no pun
intended.

Just some ideas. :)

Anyone have some more story ideas? All of mine seem to have at least one

come up with something different. :)

The latest in reality TV shows that have been spreading like wild fire is about
to hit the air! They'd call it...

GUNDAM SURVIVOR! Where Camille gets everyone he knows together and each week
they vote someone off the show who'll meet their untimely deaths right before
his eyes?

Ok maybe that's a bad idea. ^^;

Hey, are we ever going to start on that Super Robot Wars thread? I'd like to

*I* think Tomino should try and make a game show out of the whole thing. Y'know
how popular game shows are in the States, right?

"Gundam: Tactical Scriptworks" or something like that. Contestants vie for cash
prizes while trying to predict how many times given catchphrases are spoken in any
Gundam series clip.

*LOL* I love it! This is definitely a great idea.

The Gundam running in slow motion...hmmm...well, I guess Nobel Gundam could
work, as long as it's given, uh, 'prosthetic enhancements'...to fit the theme.
Then it could be renamed Nobel Gundam mk II, Pamela Custom.

Chibode...Chibode...*.* Gotta think of something else for Chibode to do...

Another idea!

1. Garma gets the wrong idea about Char's 'friendship' and decides that Char's
in love with him. The whole series revolves around Garma's attempts to 'out'
their relationship and Char's attempts to squelch that, while at the same time
trying not to destroy the already-delicate relationship he's forged with Garma.

2. Shinta, Kumu, and Puru are accidentally transported with 'big sister' Fa to
a world of giant cute things. But the nasty (yet sexy) Gremmi threatens the
world of cuteness! The four must find ancient power items and stop Gremmi, and
learn about friendship and sharing at the same time. Haro, of course, is the
king.

SRW...well, if you guys can help me get started, I'd like to start this. :)
I'd love to get going on it before we all get out of the mood. Shall I start
another thread dealing with SRW?

Ok, here's one.

Amuro, along with his Gundam, decides to rent out an apartment. He
finally finds one he likes and can afford, only his landlord, Char
Aznable, doesn't like Gundam pilots. In order to keep his identity a
secret, Amuro claims to be an artist, with the Gundam as his model that
he is painting. Watch as Amuro tries to keep up his facade of being an
artist, all the while piloting his Gundam in...Gundam's Company!

Were there any rules about how to start that? Or, is it just like a
NG-wide Fanfic? Like, I was thinking, someone could start it with one
chapter, and then people could reply with the next chapter, and then someone
else with the next chapter, and so on. And, for instance, a person could
not write two chapters in succession. Is that good? Am I missing the
point? Because I'm starting the first chapter of an alternate-universe
Gundam fanfic, and I need to know if it will work for the first chapter. If
you don't feel like discussing it on the NG you can email me at:
salteenkraka*nospam*@*nospam*home.com . Remove the *nospam* parts. Duh.

Well, although I hate the word 'fanfic', I was thinking about more or less a
NG-wide story where everyone contributes and one person writes one part, the
next person writes the next, and so on, but everybody takes a particular series
or a few series that they like and know things about; for example, my
characters were going to be Zeta Gundam and a few other series.

So let me know, if you want. :)

I was thinking that it could consist of our own universe. Thus, the
series could grow and grow as more and more threads start over time, and
then maybe in half a year to a full year we could have almost a complete
universe. Like, it one thread we discuss a particular character or war, or
team (like the various Gundam series), but every [SRW] thread would take
place in the same universe. That would be cool, because then AAG could have
their own Gundam series. Speaking of which, someone needs to keep track of
all the chapters, and make a compilation... Heh, I could add it to the
short-lived AAG website(which I'm in the process of recreating). <scottish
accent> It'll be great! </scottish accent).

I'm not sure I understand what you mean...the SRW series usually involve a huge
number of super/real robot series in their own universe, which we were going to
create for this [SRW] idea. Was that your idea as well?

Every person could take a number of series and characters, and eventually they
might meet and interact. That was the original concept...was this in keeping
with your idea? Let me know...

What I think he means is that yes it'll include all the series, but we should
focus on a certain group or certain event for the time being for now until
we've gotten it up and established, from there we can move it in all sorts of
different situations.

And that idea about AAG having it's own Gundam series is a heck of a good one.

Here's what I mean:

I wasn't expecting for it to include other Gundam characters. I
wanted it to be just like GW or GX... and alternate universe story without
any of the characters. I've never played or seen or read SRW (or whatever)
before. I was just thinking we could make ourselves a NG-exclusive Gundam
alternate-universe storyline. Each thread would be like a certain series,
like the first on would be just like 0079 (introducing you to the universe).
Then, any successive thread would be like Zeta, or 08th MS Team where it
would focus on a different part of the same universe. Also, with each
successive series, the reader would get a better idea about the workings of
the universe. Eventually, there would be enough info shared about the
universe in the successive threads to be just as "Gundam" and just as
info-filled as UC Gundam. Understand now? I think it'll be really cool,
and as you've seen, I've already attempted to begin it with the "[SRW]It
begins..." thread. Give it a read and tell me what you think, and hopefully
we can get a chapter 2 in there. Of course, if you guys don't like it, you
know that I'll just make it my own and make it a regular 'ole Gundam fanfic
(I know you hate that word, sorry).

I know it'll take a lot of planning and thinking, but we'll have to see
just where it goes. If you were thinking of writing one for your own
enjoyment, why don't you go ahead and add a chapter? I've tried to explain
the universe... I was thinking that it could go that Trache is the "Amuro",
where he becomes the lead protagonist and pilots a Gundam... unwittingly
fighting against that which his own father represents. I think that
something like that gives a big chance to focus in the psychological aspect
of growing up without a father... I dunno, we shall see. For the first
chapter, I just wanted to focus on Hamato, but I had thought that he would
become a minor character from here on in this "series". I just needed him
to set up the "Zeon"-type side of it all, and give the reader an
introduction the motives of that side. I realized after I wrote it that I
portrayed the colonies in a slightly negative-tone. I didn't mean to do
this, but rather write it rather objectively. I dunno people, take it any
way you want.

I get what you're saying. Basically we're all simply creating an alternate
series with Gundam Side Stories (or Dual Story for those familiar with W) to go
with it. Seems pretty cool actually. I'm all for both SRW and this
idea...gack, too many things to think about hehe.

Kaminsky: <fake English accent> Now, Mister Wiseman, this is the newest MS
we have. It's called the Kampfer. It comes with two ninety millimeter
shotguns, two 300 millimeter bazookas, four sturmfausts and six beverage
cup holders. Do try and return it in one piece.

Bernie: K is not going to like this...

Bernie Wiseman is Agent 0080.

Nah, they're all busy these days.

Last I heard, Char and Zechs were appearing on Haro's daytime talk show.
Pretty predictable, Char accused Zechs of stealing his act and his look, Zechs
countering, saying that he's better dressed, got more style, and way cooler
anyway, Char said Epyon was way too flashy and overblown, and Zechs told him
to go drop an asteroid on himself... Then it got ugly. A brief scuffle
ensued, and the two had to be separated by the show's security staff.

Fortunately, Haro intervened, told the two to settle their differences, and
then they both got makeovers! Zechs ditched the mask and put his hair up,
Char went shorter, sticking to his low-maintenance style, and dyed his hair
black, later citing a desire to "get the hell away from that copy-cat freak".

Haro kicks ass.

Then of course, there's the lighthearted Gundam Wing comedy hour, hosted by
Hiro, Trowa, and Wu Fei. In their most famous sketch, Hiro threatens to kill
people, while Wu Fei whines about being weak and Trowa mumbles about tactics.
Ah, the classics.

Shows, real life, they're all the same!
... Can Haro be convinced to do an interview with Char and every Char
wannabe out there?

Hehehe.

That would be interesting.

Hope it doesn't end up in a flashy fight.

I don't care if they fight, just as long as they use a lot of bleeps and bloops

Well, Haro's show does have the occasional scuffle and censored-out
obscenity uttered by guests and audience members.. but really I think it's
more a Jenny Jones-ish type of format - trying to be lighter, kinder, gentler,
while still going for the ratings. Hence the makeovers.

Yeah, someone desperately needs to tackle Lalah Sun's hair, Beecher's hair,
Haman Khan's extremely masculine features, and Gordon Go's eyebrows. That, and
Jerid's poofy hair, Henken's horrible beard...:}~

lol actually I prefer a really kickass masculine Haman, with the puffy head of
pink. Makes you fear her even more when the Quebley comes screaming your way
with a bunch of funnels launched. ^^;

*cackles*

You know...my friend Jake and I were speaking about breast size, and not to be
crass, but Haman Khan is very small-chested. That's a fact. She doesn't have
a large chest. However, in a 'bare shoulders' pic of her, Gremmi, and
Jude...she all but has Jugs. This must be like the anime law of blood, that it
has to shoot out at huge compression when outside the body; breasts must at
least triple in size when revealed to the air.

Anyway, didn't mean to go off on a weird tangent, but I remembered talking
about that earlier and thought it worth comment. :)

She's pretty masculine. That's not a bad thing at all! I *L-O-V-E*
Haman...I'm just saying that she's small-chested and that it seemed odd for me
to see her in that picture with extremely large breasts. o.o She must tape 'n

Maybe the shoulder-less outfit has wonderbra padding? Heh heh
Or the black outfit being too restrictive?

Man, I was so angry when a friend commented on Quebeley being ugly. =P

Well, this 'bare shoulders' pic actually had all three barechested...the 'bare
shoulders' kind of pics usually have the characters either nude or topless, and
somewhat blended into the background, usually fading just below the shoulders
(ergo the name), so it wasn't an outfit...her breasts were just MUCH bigger
than they were in the series.

I did notice that while doing my edit of the ZZ ending, her final costume in
the series (the Neo-Zion uniform) did seem to give her at least some padding,
but she was still flat compared to what I saw in that picture...

Quebeley is a masterpiece! I've always liked the Zion and non-'hero' mecha
because they've always been innovative, and most of them are
non-anthropomorphic. They don't usually resemble humans...some of them are
even insectoid, like Quin Mantha...it's just always been interesting to me.
Quebeley is such a neat and innovative suit.

Yeah I've noticed how in a lot of anime, that seems to be the case. Look at
Eva for a prime example. I don't know about you but that plug suit must be
super enhancing or their school uniforms are really good at hiding things. ^^;

Seriously. I mean, this makes me sort of scared in the case that Naga's bikini
top may roll down...the world couldn't handle it, and most likely, neither
could Naga herself!

It does seem a little bit odd though. I mean, I'm looking at a picture of
Miaka right now, and while she's barechested, she's also mostly covered by
seishi, but she has rather large breasts implied by this picture, while in her
school uniform, they look a little bit small...Bakuretsu Hunter is another good
example...but then that can be explained away by the bustier and magic. ;)

This has become a really weird thread. *LOL*
