They work just fine. They dry (out) rather quickly but they work pretty
well.

Oooh...
I have a few VDR designs that probably just scream cheese. I'll post them
when I find them.
there fine for the little pilot guys who come with the new 1/144 and the EW
pilots but not on the gundams themselves, I prefer using revell paints on
the suits, which doesnt give of so many differences in layers of paint.

The big problem with the Citadel paints is that they're thick and dry fast.
I used them on a 1/100 Zeta Gundam and it has problems transforming because
the paint makes some parts to thick to snap into place. Also the Citadel
paints scrape easy and really need to be coated in a finish of you plan to
do more then just place the model on the shelf when your down. They also
tend to leave streaks from drying if you don't cover areas well on the first
pass.

One thing to do with some of the colours, is to put one coat of un-diluted
paint, and then dilute the paint somewhat and make a second or third coat. This
covers up better and smooths some stuff out. You'll see :)
Note that I only use a traditional brush. No airbrushing for me!
