Hi... this is the first in a series..

[Not including the classical composers, Raymond Scott or the house
band Screamin' Lederhosen] but the stock cues, though all of these,
Raymond Scott, espoecially had an infleucne not just on Scott Bradley
at MGM and Carl Stlaling at MGM [not Milt Franklyn or Bill lava] but
on the stock composers.

EMIL CADKIN , & co. Associated with CAPITOL, around 55-56 when the
heads [JOHN SEELY, JACK C.COOKERLY & B.G.LOOSE] were starting some
more LPs and reelsd and went and reissued some. Their cues used oN R&S
were more CADKIN's, than usual writing partner HARRY BLUESTON but
LOOSE and partly with COOKERLY others with PHIL GREEN collaborated on
a bunch of news cues. These often turned up in later season episodes.
One is one of the many stock themes that showed up as a popular TV
sitcom's theme "Ozzie and Harriet". That had many similiar-themes,
with same composers, for the open.

REDVERS KYLE. Responb ile for a rfeal neat swank cue, with flues and
drums, then strings, known as "Busy Bachelow." One of the Ren and
Stimnpy's fans most favorite.

WILLIAM TRYTEL. All right, who hasn't asked about what was actually
titled "Saw Theme"
, not the filmn series././this was the piercing cue used in many R&S
episodes from the start.

ERC SWAN. None other than veteran ubqitious[as far as his stock
library association] French born, British and US based stock composer
ROGER ROGER, his very pretty "Romantic Legend" swooped up many a R&S
episode.

VAN PHILLIPS. Whiule this guy's only got to his name a few R&S
associated cues, both "Tom and Fool" & "Merry as a Grig", which in
said order were introduced to R&S fans right from the get go, are
among the most beloved--the first with flutes and the second with
muted horns.

RON HANMER. Possibly the most popular of these largely APM associated
composers, his music was used by hanna Barbera, the Ozzie Nelson guys,
at least TVS of the Crusader Rabbit pioneer TV series, and maybe Jay
Ward as the first producer, and of course Spumco, who gave us our
daily Ren and Stimpy. His cues are largely short dramatic strings,.

"Dramamtic Impact" series [abour 12] no lonbger than 1 minute

"Drama cues" [about same]

Also wrot emany space themes,.

LAURIE JOHNSON. Not woman but a man, Lauire wrote happy, "Holiday
Playtime":, and dramatc, "Blood in the gutter", heard when Ren is
aspparoached by Stimpy's friends the TV game show people in the first
[i.e., post "Big House Blues" pilot, regular] epsiode "Stimpy's big
day" , is a personal favorite of a lot of us.

KING PALMER. Born CEDRIN KING PALMER, hsi compositions included two in
a row in the first, "Spinglelegs", aka "Ren's Letter to Muddy
Mudskipper theme"[LOL] and "The Hackney Carriege", which folloed our
friends to the mailbox!!

More to come..

Sincerely,
Pokey
