Duration: 12 months contract
Interview : InPerson
US Citizen or Green Card only
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Perform system analysis, all phases of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance, change management, documentation, database and production support .
· This position will require experience in some optimum combination of mainframe and web server environments, depending on skills and expertise.
· This role will work closely with technical team leads, state team and quality assurance staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of system modifications.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
· Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 4 years of experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
· Experience using industry-standard COTS tools (MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint) to support excellent communication
· 4 years programming experience in mainframe technologies;
· Strong understanding and experience with change management and quality assurance procedures in system development, maintenance, and transition activities;
Preferred Qualifications -
· Programming analysis and support in an IBM CICS ADABAS environment using COBOL or Natural programming languages on an MVS/zOS platform
· Support for large scale critical systems;
· Experience with and knowledge of human services programs, Eligibility/Benefits Programs;
· Experience with database management systems, data dictionaries, data synchronization and conversion methodologies and procedures (for ADABAS, Oracle, and/or MS SQL);
· Analysis of work orders and problem reports;
· Good communication and interpersonal skills/experience in a collaborative environment;
· Understanding of systems design and development processes;
· Testing on large scale, mission critical systems
