Protests erupt over painting of dog suicide

There's a painting of a dog that has committed suicide by hanging itself
being displayed at a cafe (http://www.linexpress.com) in San Rafael. The
cafe has received a storm of protests from animal rights activists and
the cafe owner is considering pulling the exhibit. You can see the piece

I suggest that the most worrying thing about this painting is that it
displays;
poor technique
a lack of style
a flatness of form
an ignorance of colour

simply, its not very good.
I believe you'll find that comments such as these may prove far more
effective
in de-stabilising the artist than any other...
