Do you use any supplements for your Llamas right now?

Yes, two different trace mineral mixes and two different feeds.
All have vitamins + minerals and one, Winners Edge breeders mix
has probiotic as well. Which we feel is so important that we give
extra probiotic for stress, also in the early spring when all the
animals (llamas & cows) have the "green grass diarrhea"

I am not criticizing your product, just its price. I feel that
Winners Edge is over priced at $40 a bag compared to the almost
identical $12 sheep mineral I mix with it. And your product
apparently does not replace trace mineral "salts" only
supplement's them? At $65 + shipping, this is way to rich for me.

William,
You found an oversight on my part. All of the other product pages state
that shipping and handling is included in the price listed. I will fix
it on the Llama page. So a 50 lb. sack will cost you $75 out the door.
If you email me directly, I will pass it on and get you a free 2 oz (
two day) sample.

What part of it's too expensive do you not under stand<G> I am
also confused by your math, on your web page it states give 3 Oz
daily. By my calculation that is 266 feedings per 50 # yet it
states that 50# is 400 daily feedings. Now you are offering me a 2
OZ two day sample, this would work out to 800 DFs per 50#.

Obviously someone with only one or two llamas would need to get a
smaller (and more expensive) size, if the 800 DFs is correct.
Other wise it would spoil before use. Someone with say 11 (who do
I know with 11, hmm...) would need 5 bags totaling $375 per year,
remember double or triple this if the 400 or 266 DFs is the
correct figure.

For that kind of money, I can get my llamas tested to determine
what deficiencies or excesses they have in there mineral intake.
(Which is what everyone including me, myself & I really should do,
QUIT GUESSING!) Would then need to carefully look at what I am now
feeding and adjust accordingly. Guess its possible that your
products unique blend might need to part of my plan. But I would
not bet on it.

BTW I have no animosity towards you or your otherwise fine
product. And would suggest that if you own any animals, get on a
group or private mailing list dedicated to what you have. Engage
in real discussion, and have a link (and only a link!) in your
sig.

Good luck, as it's a dog eat dog world out there, and remember on
Usenet no one knows your a dog.

P.S. Where the heck is everyone? There used to be 5 or 6 (semi)
regulars here. Where are the people I sent to the mailing list?
Your not still posting here and you have not show up there. Nor
did anyone write back that my directions were bad, or that the
list owner said no, or that they think I'm a nut and they changed
there mind. If some one does not post something soon, I am going
to start replying to my self!

I like Winners Edge mineral for llamas, they have breeders mix and show mix.
My llamas thrive on it.

Bellsouth must keep articles a long time, thought I had scared Mr
"Supplements" off weeks ago.

Actually, I used to get mine from the same place you do, but I can ship 200#
in here for about the same as a pickup from Tracy...so if I have not made it
to their place in time, I order direct from Winners Edge.

Thanks!

Adam
