That would seem to have been your sole
purpose in posting this.
Irrelevancies aside, if you'd put as much
effort and understanding into horses, you
could probably keep yours from bellowing
from the barn for attention, kicking out,
and bucking with you under saddle.

GAD, Karen, didn't you SEE the return address? This is a sex troll.
Sue
You know, I know that you're a nasty, seedy little troll, and you're
just wanting what you perceive as "dirty talk" to feed your fervid,
sweating little imagination.
On the other hand, these are legitimate questions for a horse breeding
newsgroup, and as such I think they should be answered. So I'll do so in
as clinical and dry a manner as humanly possibly. And with me, that can
get *very* dry and didactic.
1) Number of ejaculates per day: like any mammal, this can vary. There
are historical records of hand breeding being done in Shires 5 times a
day for a period of 5 days on the same mare. Most breeding farms I am
aware of use a stallion maybe twice a day. With AI, this can result in
enough extended semen (depending on the stallion) to inseminate between
8 and 10 mares. (ref: G. Heusner, UGA College of Agricultural and
Environmental Sciences)
2) Quantity of ejaculate: to be considered fertile, a stallion should
produce between 25 and 100 ml per ejaculation. (ref: G. Heusner, UGA
College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences)
3) Period of time required to for a stallion to ejaculate will vary
depending on the amount of stimulus required by the individual stallion,
general health, presence or absence of a mare in estrus, and the depth
of estrus in the stimulus mare.
4) According to Crump, satisfactory levels of erection can be achieved
within 1 hour of the last erection. (ref: Crump, Jim Jr. and Julia
Crump, The Journal of Theriogenology, Vol.31 No.2, February 1989)
5) Ejaculation is routinely monitored by observing the ejaculatory
pulses, which can be both palpated and visualized. (ref: Crump, Jim Jr.
and Julia Crump, The Journal of Theriogenology, Vol.31 No.2, February
1989)
I hope those that wanted the information for reasonable purposes are
satisfied, and those that think they're Catherine the Great have an
ambulance standing by.
