Does anyone have a definitive list ? I don't want to assume that
chicken and mushroom is veggie because it doesn't look as though
there's anything non-veggie in there. Smarties look as though they're
okay, along with Kit-Kats, some red wines, and Burger King Bean
Burgers, but they're not. I think there's a good chance that there's
a reason Unilever are not putting the veggies symbol on the side of
the pack when they clearly do put it on the Bombay Bad Boy.......

Any help ?

You could try writing the company. Don't say "I'm a vegan" or they may not
understand what that really even means. Just say you're on a restricted
diet, and you can't eat any animal products, and you'd like to know if it
contains any milk, meat, or egg derivatives.

Also you'd have more luck asking this on alt.food.vegan or one of the
vegetarian cooking groups.

This isn't really a food group. It's more of a debate group.

Thanks Rubystars. I've written to them already. I kinda think these
places have stock answers for "these types of questions". I did
uncover one interesting web site : isitveggie.com

I'll take you advice, and post on alt.food.vegan, but if anyone sees
this here, and knows the answer, please reply.
