I personally don't like the use of what I call "discrete" pictures as
backgrounds, this including pictures of dolphins and other things.
However, there's a nice background on my Dolphin Page
(http://www.calpoly.edu/~mkellner/dolphins.htm) and on the homepage of
my online friend Brianna (http://www.crafti.com.au/~brianna) that
sorta resembles dorsal fins and/or water streams.

You might also check out some of the backgrounds being used on the
Dolphin Logic homepage - http://www.thegrid.net/dlogic -> there's a
great background that looks like the surface of a swimming pool or
something viewed from above. I'm using that in a couple of places
there.

For pictures of dolphins and stuff, you might want to check out
alt.binaries.pictures.animals - there's plenty being posted there, and
you can always request that somebody post a picture or two of dolphins
and other cetacea there.

You might also check out some of the other website URLs being posted
here in this newsgroup. I understand that Wendy Jo's webpage has some
excellent pictures.

Thanks Matt! There is a site attached "Dolphin Synergy", but you
must get permission from the originators to use them. Some of
mine were taken with a "Casio" digital, and others are cartoon
like characters (The dolphins jumping on the "Dolphin" page, the
cat, whale and a few others.) The new URL, in case it was missed is

http://members.aol.com/silowetcat.

I'm up for page of the week so stop by and vote for me :-)

We're adding more links this weekend too.....
