Howdy,

First off, let me say that I just started lurking here a couple of weeks ago
when we got a new puppy (Black Lab/Shep), and I really appreciate all of the
things I have learned here, especially the "feigning pain" technique to stop
the biting. I started this morning, and his mouthing is vastly less
aggresive (although the toys still take a beating!)

Anywho, I played some of the following sounds for our 11 year old Lab
(laying on the bed as I write this,) and boy did she sure perk up and give
me a funny look! Even the domestic dog barks on the second link (which
sound pretty cheesy to me) got her attention:

I tried the grey wolf sound, and the puppy did the 'tilt the head
side-to-side' thing and looked around =)

She basically ignored the dog barking sounds, but showed a bit of interest
for the 'puppy' sound.

For a real treat, play the Jingle Dogs Christmas CD! Hours of fun (for
everyone but the neighbors)!

Is it the one that goes: Bark...bark....bark// bark...bark...bark?
Know it. It's a treat for me but I've never had my dog take particular
notice.

Actually, PT enjoys Jingle Cats more for some reason. I think the dog one
is just mindless barking, but another CAT in the house ....!

We've discovered that Jet likes opera and hymns, and the Stones! Her taste
is about as varied as mine!
