Hello
I hope someone can help me. I am making a web page for my school. The
page is for our Ursidae club. (our school mascot is the bear) I was
wondering if anyone knows where i could obtain images of bears, especially
one inset in black with no background. I know this is kind of specific,
but any help would be appreciated.

You can find some good material on The Bear Den website at:

URL: < http://www2.portage.net/~dmiddlet/bears/index.html >

This is a site devoted to all kinds of bear information and conservation.
There are many pictures of bears available on this site.

Also, for a good collection of clip art, see the web PAGE at:

URL: < http://www.skepsis.com/.gblo/bears/CLIPART/ >

If you are using Netscape as your web browser, be aware that placing
the cursor over an impage and clicking with the RIGHT mouse button,
brings up a menu which allows you to capture that image to a file on
your computer.

Of course, copyrights should always be respected.

Cheers,
