These are both very good indeed. I hope they weren't born of
experience with Lose8.

My contribution, not so good:

Microsoft Windows Eight =
Ow! God, we confirm it's shit.

Nice one.
Btw., most usual complaints about Win8 seem to be "I want my start
button back" and "My computer is not a bloody mobile phone".

*** Ouch!
I've heard many bad things said about Windows, but that's a new one.

Thanks Anna. And no I haven't used it beyond a website simulation
someone made. If I was going to be using it on a tablet, it might make
sense, but not on a regular desktop system.

That one's my favorite!!

That might explain your continued sanity.

Thanks! The first one I came up with involved the concept of
'crowdfisting', so I kept looking until I found something a bit more
sensible. Glad it worked.

crowdfisting was a new concept to me. I had an altogether more sinister understanding of the term before I looked it up, believing its origins to be Mongolian (if you get my drift)

Anyway, back on topic, I have contrived a silly anagram on the subject of W8 (is it inherently slow?!!)

I can slily confirm it's worth its weight in gold
=
Microsoft Windows Eight (intrinsically light)

started out as:
(Silly) I can confirm it's worth its weight in gold

but saw the opportunity to be sly!

Chris (also silly)

I wasn't aware there was an existing concept - that's what comes of
living in Outer Mongolia, I guess.

Heh. I like the fact that so much of this is set-phrease-based.
But, being a party-pooper, I'm not sure it's very commonly splet
'slily', so you might have to revert to the less sly version:

> (Silly) I can confirm it's worth its weight in gold

or a W8 fan's assertion that it's worth its weight in gold, silly!

If only fool's gold were called 'silly gold'...

I, too, noticed the silly spelling of 'slily'.

The re-ordering of your original anagram that I would offer:

Can I confirm it's worth its weight in gold? Silly!!

Earth Jargon [off to look up crowdfisting to make sure I didn't
misinterpret it.

Slily exists allegedly (compared to slyly)
But I cannot deny it is obscure.
