Have a Xebec 20mh Sider

I got a 20mb Xebec Sider off Ebay. Estate Sale.
It may be a fully working drive with interesting stuff on it.
But came without the Xebec Controller for the side expansion port.
Is there a work around? I see lots of SCSI side port stuff will a
Xebec (also called Sider or First Class Peripherals) unit work with
something other then the original Xebec card for the Amiga that came
with this unit back in the day? (I have the manuals it shows such)
Anyway don't want to format it for Apple II use would prefer to look
first..so wondering. I have an Amiga 500 laying around someplace...thus
if a 3rd party scsi option does work with this I may just go 'whole hog'
and pick such a side expansion slot device up to see
