Lyford Cay in the Bahamas

has anyone ever visited the Lyford Cay Club in the Bahamas. If so what was
it like? The bad things and the good things. Is their limo service form
the airport or do you have to get a taxi? I am visiting Lyford Cay over the
US labor Day weekend. Thank you

I know LC quite well. Now to your questions..

The club does not provide limo service, but they will have a cab waiting for
you. It's only about 5 minutes from the airport.

Considering the price of things in LC, the service is pretty bad, however I
can recommend the burgers at the beach stand (say "Hi" to Jenny from me!),
for dinner, I would recommend going to town!

The beach is très nice, golf course and tennis courts are available as well
as water sports.

All in all, LC is very quiet, people in Nassau tend to call it "Lifeless
Cay" - need I say more? Well, if you have any more questions, send me an
