It's sad, especially when you've seen Melissa in WPW when she was
way-less juiced up. She was, at that time, like a perfectly sexy curvy
female. She had a girl next door about her. Back then, to me, she looked
as natural and as good as Alpie Neuman (though with more muscle mass).
Melissa did, from what I've seen, take a nose dive, in about 1997, and
you made a good point-as did "Tre'. The turning point was around the
time of Nemisis 3. Maybe that's when it was, as I'm not sure.
I do know that her voice was a shock, to me, when I first heard it. It
was on an "Ironman Swimsuit Edition," and she had a very deep frog-like
voice.
And yeah, sadly, her hair became like straw. Her facial features lost
that near "perfect" blonde beauty appearance. Increasingly, she was
wearing lot more make up, and her boob job was so overdone that I'm
surprized that she hasn't had it corrected.
In fact, there was an interesting piece in Flex magazine, on her,
several months ago. It was a short blurb, and it showed her boobs almost
breaking out of her dress.
The sad caption, under the picture, said: "this picture shows that
wherever Melissa Coates is; she's soon to follow" (referring to her
boobs). And, even sadder, was Melissa's comments on her Message Board,
at Diana's site. Melissa encouraged her fans to write to Flex, so that
she'd get "more publicity??" She didn't know that the mag was making fun
of her.
One woman who started out like Melissa, was "Sue Price." If you saw her
early photos, you'd know how naturally gorgeous she had been. Now, as
with Melissa, all that's left of that naturally carved physique and
face, is an increase of muscle mass and all of the horrific side effects
of steroid use.
People who worship at the shrines of these women should get up close and
personal, and they'd see what a cock-sized clitoris looks like.They'd
know what it's like to feel hair growing from the ass of their "sex
object."
Some guys like drag, and many are here, and to each his own. But, I
agree with the people who remember the Melissa who remains in my memory.
And, sadly, her early pictures are almost too perfect for words.

You should see the more recent pics of her on her website.
Her nose has gotten a lot bigger, and if you look at the last
professional photos taken of her (she was in white lingerie
in a bedroom setting) her jaw had grown quite a bit. If you
saw her last appearance on "Montell Williams", she sounded like
a drag queen.

I really do wonder why it is so 'uncool' here to be a big Melissa fan. If
you do not like her particular physique, if you do not like the fact that
she is extremely attractive, or blonde, or is at the more popular-edge of
fbb then why not just ignore any posts to do with her. Same why I ignore ANY
posts to do with Annie Riviecco, Yolanda Hughes, Sheila Burgess, Christi
Wolf and a few others as there are several fbbs that do 'nothing' for me and
leave me cold, it does not mean that I do not appreciate them.

By her own addmission it is a weak photo of her when she was still quite ill
and recovering from surgery. The amusing caption under the photo is just
that: an amusing caption, it is not meant as a dig at her, but may reflect a
generally attitude that BB mags have towards the women these days.
And personally I do not share the pointlessly purist view in this NG
regarding breast augmentation to me they look fantastic on fbbs. If I see a
nude photo or topless photo of fbb and she is intensely flat chested then I
find that an ***extreme**** turn off.
Indicentally. there are no recent pics of Melissa on her site, most recent
is about 1 1/2 - 2 years old.

special deal with Melissa. I merely responded when people kept talking about
Melissa as if she looked differently than she really does. I gave my opinion
and posted a photo to back it up. What on earth is wrong with that?
I am reminded of what has happened with Kim Chizevsky. Year by year she
managed to get more aesthetic, to create a chisled, symmetrical physique and to
tremendously improve her overall appearance, including hair and make up and no
lines on her face - and the IFBB and many of the fans totally ignored her
achievement. A lot of people tend to see what they believe - or in the case of
female bodybuilding to form opinions without actually having seen the
competitor involve or even that many photos of her.
Melissa is still one of the most attractive women in the sport and all this
talk about drug-induced changes in her appearances are just nonsense. Simple

jabber made his point when he refrained from mentioning anthing
concerning any talk of Bill Dobbins homosexuality. To do so would have

The photography is only incidental to the disguised slandering that he

to comment unless you can prove otherwise.
Obviously, to those who know anything back stage, it takes steroids to
make a "placer" in the women's NPC and IFBB. True, most get started at
the encouragement of their trainers, boyfriends and/or husbands. But,
irresponsible journalism, that which aspires to hide the obvious, is
harmful to the health of these women.
When you feel the stubbles, from a freshly shaved ass of a steroided fem
bb'er, you'll begin to wonder what you've been masturbating all about.
Before that, happens, if you're lucky enough to see that all that
glitters isn't gold, remember that women don't look like Melissa (or

One footnote: I've seen the other Melissa, the one who was pre-steroid.
Her voice was soft, and she had a magically feminine look. But even
after steroids, she still, as many other steroided women do, carried
much of that sex appeal.
Most of the women that BD photographs are still awfully sexy and
beautiful. Much about them is very feminine. Their health and looks have
been compromized, but they still have a lot of good looks about them.
Obviously, I'm not referring to Nicole Bass or the like.

When did you ever hear Melissa's voice being soft ? I have the WPW video of her
from 1993, when she was absolutely stunning and looked feminine and her voice
