a world-wide cataclysm, of massive proportions, will strike the Earth in the
year 2003. The cause of this natural event will be a monster planet, known
to the ancients but as yet undiscovered by modern man, which will pass very
near the earth as part of its normal 3,600 year orbit around the sun.

The ancient's called this monster the 12th Planet, and as this magnetic
giant passes by, it will force our North and South Poles to rotate 90
degrees. The shifting poles will drag the Earth's crust with them,
ultimately producing a new global map in a matter of hours in a massive
cataclysm affecting all life on earth. These events have occurred before, as
ancient legends and Prophecies fortell, creating what man interprets to be
ice ages, wandering poles and the flood, and have resulted in the extinction
of the Mastodon and the sinking of Atlantis.
Mankind survived these past cataclysms, some because they were lucky, and
others because they foresaw events and took precautions. To prepare for this
event, Troubled Times, a volunteer organization, was formed. The Troubled
Times mission is to place into the public record a set of solutions for
survival into the next century, solutions that are affordable, attainable,
and which will produce a healthy lifestyle in the Aftertime. These solutions
can be found radiating from The Hub of Troubled Times, which is icon driven
to help the public rapidly locate information.
Those who wish to join this volunteer organization have but to check out
the current ongoing teamwork and join the Membership to enter into the
stream of activity and offer their contributions. Where ZetaTalk supports
the operation of Troubled Times, the two are separate entities, as is the
Nonprofit organization, Troubled Times, Inc. Original works within Troubled
Times are owned by the individual contributors, who have granted Troubled
Times the right to make this information available to the public. Of
interest to people throughout the world, Troubled Times has several Mirror
Sites.
Lack of preparation for the cataclysms may be worse than fatal, it may
leave you and those you care about injured, hungry, frightened, and with no
recourse or end in sight! For those with a JavaScript compliant browser,
Toubled Times has provided a countdown, but don't delay.

Starting in 1997 the earth's warming trend, steming from her core, will be
noticed and is a general topic of conversation. This is when you should
prepare for self sufficiency in a safe location.

Starting in 2000, three years prior to the cataclysms, a period of crop
shortages will be so severe that alternative food production needs to be
begun and practiced in earnest. This is when you should become practiced at
self sufficiency.

Starting in May, 2003, the earth's rotation will stop within a day and hold
for several days just prior to the pole shift. This is when you and your
loved ones should be situated at your safe location.

Countdown: 2 years 6 months.

A monster planet that would strike the Earth in 2003 would certainly make
itself know in the present by perturbing the orbits of the outer planets
of the solar system. If astronomers notice anything funky going on with
the orbits of the outer planets, then it may be time to seek a cause.
But, 'till then I would say your information is fiction.

You've apparently read "The Earth Chronicles" by Zecharia Sitchin. The name
of the 12th planet is Marduk. This would tie-in to the polar shift
predicted by Edgar Cayce. Of course, the world won't end with this
catastrophe. According to the Mayan calendar, the 5th and final cycle of
man will end on Dec. 23, 2012.

Hey ! ....earth scientist know all about this 12th planet.. it sits out past
Pluto and is a dark mass equivalent to Jupiter. the theory goes that every
3600 years it's orbit crosses the earths and we have a pole shift.

Little is known of this mass other than it is large and has a rotation
factor around our sun, and does not reflect light back to the earth for
scientist to do an extensive survey of the mass.

As far as cataclysm for earth. any thing is possible. maybe even rain for 40
days and 40 nights when the poles shift and the artic/antartic melt.

I for one can hardly wait to have something happen. seeing I live in a rural
area far away from the trash in the city. I will be very happy to see tides
rise and rain wash scum off the face of the earth. take those cities of ill
fate back into the sea. wash the dirty souls of life and pack heaven with a
cry like no other.

So repent.. I know I will enjoy the moment ..mean while just sit back,
relax, and continue living like a piece of shit....

Look at it this way.. when we are all dead, those who have the SOUL to
adventure, will finally have the opportunity to bump amongst the stars..

SEE YA ALL THERE !!!!

In 1982, NASA themselves officially recognized the possibility of Planet X,
with an announcement that 'some kind of mystery object is really there - far
beyond the outermost planets'. One year later, the newly launched IRAS
(Infrared Astronomical Satellite) spotted a large mysterious object in the
depths of space. The Washington Post summarized an interview with the chief
IRAS scientist from JPL, California, as follows:

"A heavenly body possibly as large as the giant planet Jupiter and possibly
so close to Earth that it would be part of this solar system has been found
in the direction of the constellation Orion by an orbiting telescope... 'All
I can tell you is that we don't know what it is', said Gerry Neugebauer,
chief IRAS scientist.

yes I have read all of Sitchin's books. He really is only the tip of the
iceberg. mayan calander.... 2012? i dunno about predictions made to the
exact year, especially when made thousands of years ago, but i think this or
next decade is a safe bet.

lol..... hey now. the only shit i see are those pieces that "know" and do
nothing about it but bitch (even if its funny). "what can we do about it"?
well..... as you seem to be slightly aware of, there IS a spiritual element
to all this. church? repent? I dunno if thats the way. How bout lowering
the ignorence level of the mass public for a start?.... up from coma.... to
let's say.... waking zombie

ummm..... unless your cute lil soul gets scooped up again and made to
incarnate again (of course with this wonderful amnesia problem) into some
other body/death cycle. the greys are gonna use them hybrid bodies for
somethin, no?

Yes. But has the object been confirmed in the present? Several months ago
I read of a group of astronomers who insist there is a large object out
there. It is intriguing no doubt, but obviously has not been confirmed as
I have heard no news of planet X's discovery. BTW, with new indications
that brown dwarfs may be more common than originally thought I would not
be surprised if one had a long period orbit around the sun.

Okay, Robert. Did a quick search for the astronomers who proposed
(insist is too strong a word) the existence of a planet x. I believe they
are Dr. John Murray and Dr. John J. Matese. A URL if you're interested:
http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/astronomy/outer_planets_991014.html
The IRAS search from the 80's is mentioned also.

The idea of a planet x is not nutty. It will just take some time to
confirm. But, I think one can hardly say with confidence that it will
strike Earth in 2003. Hell, we'd probably be bombarded with comets before
the thing ever got that close.

I definitely liked your take on things, but I
think you might have watched Star Trek a little
too much as a kid. If such an event were to
occur in such a short time frame, then I believe
that we would have spotted this "giant" star or
planet "X" by now. I understand than NASA found
a planet X years ago, but I believe that it would
be in some sort of view by now or at least
effecting the orbits or our other planets by now.
So don't waste too much time fretting over things
like this, because if this does occur, no onle
will be around to do a damn thing about it
anyways! So live it up while you can!
