Help!

I want to put page numbers in my project and I tried it with the ctrl-alt-p
combination as I
read in my book an the helpfile, but nothing happens. Even in a project with
only one page
(one master page) it doesn't work. What am I Doing Wrong?

Have you got PageTools installed? If so this may get in the way of a ctrl-alt-p
command

You don't by chance have a German version of PM, do you?
If <ctrl><alt><p> dosn't work, try:

<ctrl><shift><3> .. works for me.

Hi Sebastian,

Are you using PC or Mac?

I have no problems getting -Master- page numbers in Pagemaker(6.5) on the
PC, just

goto a Master-page, select the Text tool and then press CTRL+ALT and then P

My Mac experience isn't so clear cut. I keep forgetting the key combo and
end up pressing different combinations until it works, but if I remember
tomorrow I'll give it a go and report back.

I think the best bet is to goto a Master-page select the Text tool and click
to start typing, then try a different combo of ALT+CTRL and P or COMMAND+ALT
and P...

Thank you for your tips.

Now it works when I'm using ctrl-shift-3. Why? Now Idea.. ;-)

Hold COMMAND (The apple key) + ALT, then press the P key :)
