There seems to be an error in the above!

According to the Pagemaker Manual:-

Special Characters (Windows)

em dash is obtained by Alt + Shift + -
en dash is obtained by Alt + -

em space is obtained by Ctrl + Shift + m
en space is obtained by Ctrl + Shift + n

Special Characters (Macintosh)

em dash is obtained by Opt + Shift + -
en dash is obtained by Opt + -

em space is obtained by Cmd + Shift + m
en space is obtained by Cmd + Shift + n
