Officials at the San Antonio International Airport are investigating after
an airline ground crew member was killed late Friday, June 23.

In a statement, SAT spokesperson Tonya Hope said the death was the result
of an accident on the ground. No other details on the accident or identity
of the person killed were immediately available.

"We are deeply saddened by this incident and are working with authorities
as they begin their investigation," Hope said in the statement.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more details become
available.
