Birth father searching for birth son born 12/19/65 in Denver,
Colorado to Cheryl
Whitehead. She lived at the Florence Crittenden home in Denver, CO. He
was listed on his
original birth certificate as Baby Boy Whitehead and turned over to
the Albany Country
Welfare Department, Laramie, WY for adoption. I have used a CI in
Wyoming to locate
him in July 97, but as of 20 March 1998, he has not decided to approve
or decline contact.
If he reads this, I want him to know that I do not feel that I have
any right to interfer with
his life or his families, but would appreciate the opportunity to talk
to him about how he
came to be adopted. At a minimum, I want him to be able to locate me if
he ever decides he
wants contact. I recently had a chance to learn a good deal more about

At 18 months old their mother Anna Mae Potts died and they were orphaned. A woman Elizebeth Seewald from St Boniface church in Williamsport raised these girls but never formally adopted them.
My mother 94 now has dementia and her twin is on the way as well. A family friend has tried for 20+ years to find out any information out there.
If anyone knows anything I’d be so grateful to learn of my family history.
Back then things like this were hushed and any records we might have found we were told burned in fire at church.
