BAD EXPERIENCE- THE LINK ADOPTION-CONCORD NORTH CAROLINA :(

This email was sent to us from Amy Miller, who WAS our facilitator from The Link, in Concord North Carolina. Amy allowed this woman Julia Childers from Adoptions in Newton, North Carolina ,a women she is associated with to talk to her clients in a very abusive manner. Is this the kind of facilitator that you would want to be a part of you adoption process? She states that she had a calling from god to do this work. We strongly believe that god would NOT agree with this kind of behavior. We certainly do not want to work with a facilitator that does not support and or protect us from people like her associate Julia Childers, rather, she advocates this kind of outlandish behavior. Make your own decision as you read the email that Julia Childers sent to Amy Miller to forward to her clients.

Hello friends,
I just read the email Amy sent about the unkind
remarks made about how couples are chosen. If you are
one of my agency's couples - You need to call me. We
need to talk. If you are not registered with our
agency, I hope you will read the following.

I have never been more ashamed of some adoption
seekers as I have in the past few months. Adoption is
not about who gets what baby! It is about Amy Miller
and Christian agencies as myself seeking to do the
Lord's will. I have heard comments such as "if you
volunteer with the LINK, then you get preference--or
if you donate a lot of money, you get preference.
Listen folks, 51% of you never give a dime to Amy and
some of you have adopted more than one child! Our
volunteers volunteer because they enjoy Christian
stewardship! Each volunteer I have ever worked with
through LINK has never uttered an unkind word about a
placement or about another couple. If you are any of
these individuals who are saying these things, Let me
tell you this---------------Leave Link, if you are a
couple of our agency, Leave us! Go to the nearest
adoption agency and ask how much it costs to adopt and
then get your checkbook ready to empty! But the real
truth, perhaps Amy and myself need to evaluate harder
the couples who come to us and truly decide whether
their heart and FAITH can withstand the challenge of
adoption. Stop whining. It wastes time and it is a
tool of the devil. Some of you who have complained
have actually called our agency to ask if we would
"show your portfolio or remember you when a birthmom
comes in" The answer is No. Behavior speaks louder
than words--and I have turned away some of you this
week so I hope you know that some praying for guidance
and asking forgiveness is something to consider. Want
to know about failed adoptions? The Byrnes had a baby
for one hour a month ago--and 5,000 later no
adoption. Are they speaking out about the other
couples who recently were chosen or who have babies?
NO THEY ARE NOT AND I AM SO PROUD TO KNOW THEM! They
are an example for us all.

This is harsh reality folks but here are the adoption
guides.

Complaining and judging and poormouthing will not get
you a baby any faster. Do NOT offend Mrs. Miller or
myself with your childish and spoiled brat
accusations. We have serious work to do and
complaining and unkind words are not in our
appointment book. Grow up--take it up with God! You
will not receive placement until you and HE has an
understanding and a readniness to parent is in place.
As of today------if you have been a part of this ugly
circle------including the things some write on the
scam boards, then you should come forth, be honest
with us and pray for God to lead you whether or not
you are ready for adoption. Amy and I pray for
couples everyday. When we interact with birthparents,
we pray for God to use us to fulfill his will. Bottom
line---------If you are complaining, you are not ready
and perhaps LINK or my agency is not for you. We are
NOT for everybody and yes we do DENY couples whose
behaviors are not Christian. I hope this stops and
that each couple will pray for those who Satan seems
to have some power over. For it is only Lucifer that
could bring an adoptive couple to say such ugly
things.
Again, if you are a couple of this agency and you have
participated in this--you need to call me. I do know
who most of the individuals are. I pray this will not
happen again. If you do not like the way things are
done---------Go away. We have many couples who are
bound in the Lord and pray daily and do not question
or judge the adoption results. God be with us.

I need everyone help I. Looking for this woman Amy Miller that was a adoption director. I gave up both my children which was sponsored to be a open adoption both family's rigged on me and I never heard from them again. One of my so. I have just found out was betten by this couple. Z if any one can help me it would be very nice.
