Spoilers for the various books in this huge House of M crossover...

I'm actually reading House of M, Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, Fantastic
Four and Mutopia X as well Uncanny X-Men and Excalibur which I buy
regularly anyway. I believe other books are affected as well. I also
bought the Secrets of the House of M guide book as well.

The House of M book itself is pretty good. Some things:

* Interestingly, Wanda is not a mutant in this "reality".

* However, Jessica Drew supposedly is.

* Hawkeye is alive in this reality.

* The covers suggest that The Sentry exists in this reality, but we
haven't seen him yet.

Fantastic Four is interesting. The existence of "The It" and Doom's
description of it seems to suggest that Ben Grimm was the Thing, and
therefore that the "real" Fantastic Four did exist once.

Iron Man is a bit dull, but the art is gorgeous.

Spider-Man is probably the best of the books. Salvie draws Spidey is
good enough, but the idea that he would pretend to be a mutant in order
to gain fame and fortune is interesting.

I actually missed the first issue of Incredible Hulk, so I need to get
it and read it before commenting as I read the second issue without
realising I had missed anything.

Uncanny X-Men seems to bear the House of M imprint but doesn't seem to
have anything to do with the storyline.

Blimey! You've gone the full hog for this the same way I have for IC!#

I've enjoyed it, but not been gagging for the next issue like I have
with the various IC minis (Donna Troy, Villains United and Omac
especially)

I'm sure that had been re-re-retconed about, but doesn't shock me.
Personally though I preferred her as a PI with Lindsey McCabe and
Julia Carpenter as Spider Woman
(did you pick up Giant Size Spider Woman today as well?)

YAY! Apparently, I'm hearing this is actually OUR Clint, who got
shunted sideways dimensionally to reappear here.
Bet this one sticks after it's all finished

Wasn't he in the psychiatrists office in the first issue (Robert?)

Not read any of the tie ins, except the ones I'll buy normally, but
heard good things about the Spider-Man and Hulk ones

Which is good, but glad it is using the existing Dimensional Flip
Flops as part of it's ongoing story. Hell the UXM issue was worth it
for the Betsy/Rachel interaction

Was tempted by the New X-Men (Illyana!!) but will wait and see what
the general feedback is and get it as part of the trade run

Only other one I'll probably get will be New T-Bolts because I get
that anyway

Certainly interested in the main series, but the tie ins haven't
grabbed me like IC seems to have done. Will be interested to see how
this all gets resolved and what the long standing implications
actually are for the MU

Not quite the full hog as I haven't gotten the related Exiles, Black
Panther, Thunderbolts, Captain America and New X-Men titles.

I'm buying OMAC, Rann-Thangar War (haven't actually read that yet) and
Villains United. I didn't realise Donna Troy was related.

Yes, she is...

Perhaps she's lying like her namesake ?

No, but then I didn't pick up anything today as I do my comics shopping
on Fridays. :-)

Wouldn't surprise me. Perhaps the idea that Daredevil is the mystery New
Avenger is a red herring...

Oh yes, so he was.

Hulk is by Peter David, so you can't really go wrong there.

In Spidey's one, the back story is that he tripped over the guy who
stole the money from the wrestling promoter and therefore Uncle Ben
lived. Spidey became a huge movie star, and his identity was publicly
known but everyone thinks he's a mutant - mainly because Ben told him
not to say anything. He's married to Gwen, but controversially starred
with MJ who became the world's biggest Sapien movie star.

It just seems to me that it's not really connected.

Probably not much, actually, aside from bringing Hawkeye back.

BP is so bad now that I wouldn't bother
New X-men: Illyana!!!!
TBolts- probably if you've not been buying it regularly (why not????),
you'd not get the thrust of it as it's running along it's main story
Exiles, we've got at least 2 issues before that happens, so doubt
it'll be much more than to drop off Beak

Yep, and I *think* it's going to be the cornerpice to the whole thing,
considering her death was one of the first IC pieces
LOVING VU though. Catman is now one of my favourites! (Damn Gail
Simone for being so good!)

Ew! Austen being used as canon. thought we'd taken a poll to ignore
anything he wrote!

Possible. Doubt it'll be that simple though! It IS Bendis you know...

Hmmm. Can't see Ronin being Clint though.

Exactly- SO looking forwards to his new X-factor series

It's not. Thats why I like it! "Does EVERYTHING have to revolve around
that Bloody bird??!"

Maybe strip Wanda of all powers, finally explain Xorneto and kill off
a lot of the many mutantys floating around back to usable levels

Probably destroy Genosha too, which is a pity, picked up the final
Excalibur trade, and actually was really getting into it. Looking
forwards to New Excalibur (Sage, Nocturne, Juggernaut!! woohoo!) but
felt there was a lot more CC could do with this
