According to Wikipedia, “the Omphalos hypothesis is the pseudo-scientific argument that God created the universe recently... but also introduced false evidence that the universe is of great age”[1]. This is precisely the alleged philosophy behind the last thursday theory. This essay aims to explore the religious catechism of the Church of Last Thursday, and explore reductio ad absurdum as the possible true core philosophy behind it.
