MODERATION Criteria:

Messages are not published in this group if they do not
comply with the purposes in the charter or are off-topic.

Postings are considered to be off-topic if they don't fall
into one or more of the following categories:

1.Requests to hook up with fellow ecological direct
activists near you or where you are travelling to.

2.Announcements of forthcoming eco- direct action events.

3.Reports from and discussion of these events.

4.Background information pertaining to these events.

5.Announcements of new situations arising where direct
action is needed.

6.Discussion of tactics.

Other than this, commercial postings, trolls and messages
containing personal attacks (unless they are funny) will be
rejected.

The following will be automatically rejected by a robot:
1. Bulkmail, mailbombs, etc. binaries (images etc)
2. Cross-posts (all crossposting is rejected!)
3. Excessive quoting (more than 2/3 is quoted text)
4. Messages containing HTML tags or other formatting that
doesn't belong to USENET

The appropriate article, technical and policy submission
addresses will be announced both in the FAQ sent to the
group and the web-site of the group:
http://www.eco-action.org/ng

The newsgroup will be moderated initially by those setting
the group up: mii...@k2net.co.uk, sav...@easynet.co.uk and
one other
