Germany: motorway news A17 action camp

The bulldozers come more and more forward on the 1st
section. Until the 1th of April we expect the building
companies want to cut many beatiful trees in the little
valley "Zschonergrund". The reason is: After this date
cutting is not allowed in germany (brooding-bird
protection). But the companies want to build the first
bigger motorway-bridge in the valley.
"Unfortunately" the cabin-camp against A17 is correctly
situated at this place and all camp inhabitants want to
resist. Everybody believes that a confrontation with the
police comes during the next weeks. From 6.2. to 31.3.
the camp organizes resistance-weeks with music,
theater, cinema, reclaim the streets - party e.g.
Everybody's interest and participation is welcome. We
