Excerpt:
"The Jihadis will return. We know this, in the same way that we know
about death and taxes. Thanks in large part to the weakening of our
defensive efforts under the new administration, there will be further
attacks against this country's population, perhaps even worse than
those of 9/11...."
A reader's response:
" This essay is long but probably the most important one written in
the past few months. We are being warned, as in Churchill's warnings
to the English, AND WE MUST PAY ATTENTION. Dunn tells how we must
fight the American left Loony Liberals. Ignoring him and others like
him will result in devastating consequences. The American left is our
enemy; always has been and always will be!"

That would require actual consideration. Peabrain doesn't quite manage
such lofty achievements as thought.
It is a tricky one, though, and something about which I don't really
have a fully formed opinion.

I'm not quite convinced that there are ulterior motives. People are
frightened again and will jump at shadows at every possible opportunity.
If we just realise that, even in 2001, our chances of dying in a motor
vehicle accident were several orders of magnitude greater than the
chances of our being killed in a terrorist attack, things might be
easier to put in perspective.
