Re: Rankoth
vs. Sloan, 2008-02071

Dear Mr. Rose,

On Friday, August 29, 2008, I filed in your court and attempted to
serve my appeal brief on my adversaries in the above referenced case.

However, my principal adversary, Jill Zuccardy of Sanctuary for
Families, refused to accept service of my appeal brief. The appeal
brief was being delivered by UPS. Miss Zuccardy rejected service and
as a result my brief is now in transit back to South Carolina where my
appellate printer is located.

You can verify that this happened by going to the UPS website at
ups.com and entering the tracking number, which is:

1Z11AF780353696350

I enclose the printout, which says:

NEW YORK, NY, US
08/29/2008 8:02 P.M. THE RECEIVER DID NOT WANT THE ORDER AND REFUSED
THIS DELIVERY / RETURNED TO SHIPPER
08/29/2008 4:06 P.M. THE RECEIVER DID NOT WANT THE ORDER AND REFUSED
THIS DELIVERY
08/29/2008 5:54 A.M. OUT FOR DELIVERY
08/29/2008 5:30 A.M. ARRIVAL SCAN

I believe that it is unethical for a legal adversary to refuse to
accept delivery of an appeal brief. I request that you contact Miss
Zuccardy and try to straighten this out. Failing that, I request that
sanctions be imposed on Jill Zuccardy and Sanctuary for Families.

There was also a problem with service of my appeal brief on my other
adversary, Vladimir Cadet. It appears that Mr. Cadet has moved without
notifying me of his new address. However, it appears that Mr. Cadet
simply moved to a different office in the same building. Previously,
he was in room 505. Now he is in room 806. I am surprised that UPS was
unable to find him if that was the case. UPS called me to ask about
this, so I know that they were searching for him.

The tracking number for the delivery to Mr. Cadet is
1Z11AF780353694870

You will see that it says:

MASPETH,NY, US
08/29/2008 9:29 P.M. DESTINATION SCAN
08/29/2008 5:10 P.M. A DELIVERY CHANGE REQUEST FOR THIS PACKAGE WILL
BE COMPLETED / THE ADDRESS HAS BEEN CORRECTED. THE DELIVERY HAS BEEN
RESCHEDULED
08/29/2008 5:09 P.M. THE RECEIVER HAS MOVED. UPS ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE
RECEIVER TO COMPLETE DELIVERY, NO DELIVERY WAS MADE / THE EXCEPTION
WAS OVERRIDDEN AND A NEW EXCEPTION WAS CREATED.
MASPETH, NY, US
08/28/2008 11:18 P.M. A DELIVERY CHANGE REQUEST FOR THIS PACKAGE WILL
BE PROCESSED / DELIVERY TO AN ALTERNATE ADDRESS WAS REQUESTED
08/28/2008 5:38 P.M. THE RECEIVER HAS MOVED. UPS ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE
RECEIVER TO COMPLETE DELIVERY, NO DELIVERY WAS MADE / A POSTCARD HAS
BEEN SENT TO THE RECIPIENT REQUESTING THAT THEY CONTACT UPS.
08/28/2008 3:09 P.M. THE RECEIVER HAS MOVED. UPS ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE
RECEIVER TO COMPLETE DELIVERY, NO DELIVERY WAS MADE
08/28/2008 6:10 A.M. OUT FOR DELIVERY

Note that the delivery to Mr. Cadet arrived one day earlier, August
28, 2008. It seems possible from the above notations that Mr. Cadet
has moved twice. It says that delivery has been rescheduled for
September 2, 2008, the day after Labor Day. I hope that the delivery
of my appeal brief to Mr. Cadet takes place on that date without
further problems.

The tracking number of the delivery of my brief to your officers in
the Appellate Division is:
1Z11AF780353695851

This shows that it was delivered to your office successfully on August
29, 2008. I am surprised at the lateness of the hour, 4:26 PM. I
received mine much earlier the same day.

I am in a quandary at to what to do about the refusal of Jill
Zuccardy, Attorney at Law, to accept delivery of my appeal brief.
Please advise me.

Very
Truly Yours,

Samuel

Public interest? You delusional attention-starved little puppy. In
all the years that you've posted details of your failed life, I have
yet to see people write, "Please tell us more, Sam." atleast in the
nyc.*. The only time your name and your pitiful existence is brought
up in usenet is when you post your problems here.
