I dead tired but we need to talk about this issue.
I have seen a lot of harm done by the way government tries to collect
child suppport. I think we need to find a better way. Those paying
support get so broke that they cannot get out from under the slavery
they are forced into.
Excessive support awards are running fathers off when the kids really
need them the most. I feel it to be a bit one sided. I collect support
from my X only after she drug me back to court again and again trying to
win my girl. The Judge couldn't deny it again without showing how one
sided the system had become.
We have to find a better way to collect support without making slaves of
one parent, cutting kids feelings in 1/2, and making it so no one can
keep a job because we take too much out of their check. Too hell with
the support--kids need parents more than money. Babysitters cost money
and a trade off of that one item can be just as good as cash.
Anyone want to add to this? Where could we post ideas like the above
and make a change to law. No one wins the way it is. Everyone is worse
off.

I couldn't agree more, individual judgements can vary dramatically and
no one ever goes back to see what's happening to the money.
